A commonly hailed as nature's most complete food, with extensive references to it in the Bible and ancient Chinese texts Bee Pollen is the male germ seeds of plants, flowers or blossoms on trees that ensure continuity of plant life. Bee pollen is assimilated into the blood stream directly from the stomach through a process called persorption. Pollen provides more than 22 amino acids, 12 vitamins, 22 minerals, enzymes, essential fatty acids and carbonhydrates. Its carotenoids content also play an important role in maintaining healthy skin. Its nutritional content is approximately 35% protein. Persorption is the process whereby bee pollen is assimilated into the blood stream directly from the stomach.This process makes it possible for the human body to assimilate bee pollen by way of oral consumption. Some individuals with allergic reactions to bee pollen can gradually build their immune tolerance by consuming bee pollen prior to the flowering season. In doing so, their bodies are then able to identify air-borne pollen in advance, at least early enough to avert the possibility of producing allergic responses to the substance.

Recommended Dosage
- To minimize the likelihood of allergic reactions, adults should start by taking 1/2 tablet a day and increase dosage accordingly.

Reminder
- Some individuals may exhibit allergic reactions to caffeic acid phenethyl ester (CAPE) contained in the bee propolis product. Such individuals should consult appropriate healthcare advisers prior to using bee propolis in the form of external applications or cosmetics or before they are to consume royal jelly.

- To test one’s tolerance level towards the product, the individual is best advised to place half a tablet below the tongue and then watch out for the next half an hour and even a day, allergic reactions such as itching of the skin, sore throat, tears in the eye or nasal discharge. Should these symptoms or another allergic reactions occur, stop using the product for the time being and consult healthcare experts or advisors.
